Message	are upgraded with a better seatbelt location not on the door, the hydraulic rear steering is replaced with an electric control and other improvements. Steer clear of the 96 since VCT has been removed and supposedly less Hp. Others on this site can offer their opinions on these model years. Regardless heve it throughly checked by someone who is expert with these cars. These are expensive cars to own and maintain. Don't buy one that has poor or no maintainence records.
